In the fourth quarter of 2023, the sniper game genre continued to captivate Australian mobile gamers. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how five leading sniper games performed on the unified platform, which includes both iOS and Android data.
Camo Sniper experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at approximately 8.5K in the last week of September and peaking at around 5.8K in the final week of December. Weekly active users began at roughly 11.5K and saw an increase to nearly 9.8K by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $42 and dropped to $25 by the close of Q4.
Sniper 3D: Gun Shooting Games showed a more stable revenue trend, with earnings starting at about $7.4K and ending the quarter at around $6.3K. Downloads saw a slight upward trend from 4K to over 5K, and weekly active users impressively climbed from approximately 20K to nearly 19.7K.
For Giant Wanted, downloads and weekly active users both showed a gradual increase. Downloads started at close to 1.9K and rose to roughly 1.8K, while active users grew from around 3.4K to over 3K by the quarter's end.
Sniper Strike: Shooting Games witnessed a revenue hike from $765 to $1.2K in mid-quarter, before settling at $1.2K. Downloads dipped initially but rebounded from 578 to around 1.4K, and active users showed a positive trajectory from 1K to over 2K.
Lastly, Archer Attack 3D: Shooter War saw downloads peak at 535 in late November and then slightly decrease to 361 in the final week of December. Weekly active users remained consistently high, hovering around the 9K mark throughout the quarter.
